Hi! I’m Chuen Zen.
I hold a law degree from Cardiff University, UK, and I was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn on 26th July 2022. Upon graduation, I returned to Malaysia to commence my pupillage, fulfilling my long-time aspiration of becoming a Malaysian lawyer. During my time at bar school and throughout pupillage, I discovered my passion for litigation, and I am now dedicated to building my legal career as a litigation lawyer.
Since my admission to the Malaysian Bar on 22nd September 2023, I have commenced practice, primarily assisting in general civil litigation matters, including debt recovery, contractual disputes, construction disputes, and tenancy disputes. I subsequently joined Kheng Hoe & Lee Yuen in March 2025 to focus on construction disputes.
When I’m not in court or drafting legal submissions, you’ll likely find me on the basketball court—a sport I’ve loved since my high school and university days, during which I previously represented my school team.
In addition, I am fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay. If you’d like to get in touch, feel free to drop me a note at [email protected].
