Hi, I’m Hui Xin. I graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) (Hons) from the University of Liverpool and further pursued my legal qualification through the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP). I was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2026.
My journey in legal practice began during my CLP studies, where I developed a strong interest in the practical aspects of law and the role of legal practitioners in assisting clients with their legal matters.
I commenced my pupillage at KHLY under the guidance of my pupil master, Lynn. During my time at KHLY, I had the opportunity to work on various matters involving dispute resolution, winding-up proceedings, and construction-related matters involving the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA). These experiences shaped my understanding of the importance of providing clear advice, practical solutions, and effective representation to clients.
Following the completion of my pupillage, I was retained by KHLY as an Associate. I continue to be involved in a variety of legal matters, while further developing my experience and interest in construction law. I enjoy understanding each client’s unique circumstances and working towards solutions that are practical and effective.
